The Patriot War covers the Canadian and American uprising against the British crown and the banking system in Upper Canada from 1837-1838.

 John Prince was an English-born lawyer and politician, first judge of the Algoma District, and namesake of Prince Township. 

The Life of John Prince follows his story from Hereford, England to Sault Ste. Marie. 

EDMONIA LEWIS

Edmonia is an African American,  Haitian, and Chippewa (Ojibwa) artist, whose famous work has a connection to Sault Ste Marie.
