The Sault Ste. Marie Museum is starting its own tradition this year by introducing the Museum Memory Tree. This holiday season, to remember your loved ones, we invite you to share a photo and/or a memory of your loved one by placing it on our tree. Your loved one’s photo and/or “memory note” will become part of the museum’s collection. We are delighted to showcase to our community, their memory.
Please ensure that the photo is no bigger than 4"x6". A wallet size would be best so that everyone can have a place on our tree. You can bring in your photo ready to place on the tree or you can glue it to one of our pre-cut paper ornaments. We encourage you to write a cherished memory on the back of your ornament. Your note can also be written on a pre-cut ornament.
The project will run for the month of December. Doors will be open starting Saturday, December 2, 2023, through Friday, December 22, 2023. Visit us Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm.
