Lakeside Paint Night Fundraiser
The New Northern Mentality Youth Group is a youth-led advocacy group focused on opening up conversations about mental health and breaking down related stigmas in our community.
Join the Sault Ste. Marie Museum and the New Northern Mentality Youth Group at our paint night fundraising event! Together we will be guiding you through a tranquil lakeside painting on Thursday, September 5th at 7 PM.
Broers Jansen will be on site with a cash bar and signature cocktail available for purchase. This is a 19+ event.
Proceeds will go towards mental health advocacy training for youth within the organization.
"Disable The Label (DTL) is our annual summer training retreat for young community leaders and their adult allies. Since 2007, this event has brought together over 100 participants from across the province to enhance their mental health advocacy skills, share projects, and build connections. At DTL, we grow our capacity to advocate for positive changes in Ontario’s children and youth mental health system."
