Other Resources

northshorefisheries.net is a website that documents the commercial fisheries and historic fish stocks on Canadian Lake Superior (also with limited information for Lakes Huron and Erie).
It consists of published and unpublished manuscripts, hand-written notes of archival records and oral interviews gathered during the 1980s in the course of Master's
thesis research and contract work for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and for Parks Canada. At the time, help was provided by the Sault Ste. Marie Historical Society.
