In collaboration with the Sault Museum, the Sault Downtown Association is hosting a Queenstown Golden Jubilee commemorating 50 years of downtown Queen Street!
The event will take place Friday, November 14th from 6:30pm to 10:30pm at the Sault Museum (690 Queen St. E). This event will feature a large display of Queenstown history over the past five decades, including newspaper articles, photographs and more! This selection will be on display for your viewing pleasure, as well as a rotating slide deck of curated images in the main event room. We're inviting all Downtown members, new and old, to submit their testimonials highlighting the best memories of the downtown, as well as hopes and predictions for the future. These testimonials will be kept at the museum for future generations of business owners to look back on and draw inspiration from, underlining the true power of progress over time. Written testimonials can be submitted to c[email protected] with the heading "Testimonial - Queenstown Golden Jubilee Event". If you have pictures you would like to share, please reach out to us here at the Museum. The event will be come-and-go style with a selection of hors d'oeuvres from a wide range of restaurants in our downtown. Broers Jansen will provide a cash bar. The doors will open at 6:30pm with speeches commencing at 7pm. Individual copies of the photo selection will be available for purchase in the Sault Museum gift shop after the event is concluded. |

Tickets are $25 per person with 100% of the proceeds going to the Sault Museum.
