Kahvitauko/Kaffepaus is back for Ontario Culture Days at the Sault Ste. Marie Museum!
Celebrate Finnish history and culture in the Sault through conversations, coffee and pulla/kaffebröd. A plethora of never before displayed Finnish artifacts and archives from the Museum's collection will be on display.
This year's display will feature artifacts from the second wave of Finnish immigration from the 1950s, 60s, 70s and beyond, Finnish travel, a new display on Jussi Palokangas, and a special display on the history of the Ontario Finnish Rest Home (OFRA) Suomi Eesti Maja! More to come!
